We specialise in IT skills resourcing, IT consulting and outsourced application development and support.Position SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a minimum of5+years of experience who can work on building high-performance backend systems and scalable application components.The role requires strongPython skills, cross-platform(Windows & Mac)desktop UI interactionexpertise, and the ability to build new features from scratch while handling complex, unpredictable UI behaviors.You will work on core runtime systems, concurrency flows, sandboxing models, and cross-platform execution, while ensuring security boundaries and accessibility integrations.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild new product features and modules from scratch. Work withUI interactionlayers for web and desktop environments. Develop and maintainbackend servicesandcore application components. Implement Desktop UI automation and integrate with OS accessibility APIs. Enable stable cross-platform execution acrossWindows and Mac. Handleasync execution, concurrency,andmulti-process workflows. Design runtime sandboxing and enforce strong security boundaries. Manage non-deterministic UI behaviors and build reliable fallback logic. Implement logging, tracing, error handling, and debugging systems. Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams. Support cloud deployments (preferably AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.Mandatory SkillsStrong programming experience inPython(must-have). Good understanding of APIs, microservices, and backend system design. Experience with DesktopUI automationand OS accessibility APIs. Basic experience with async programming and event-driven architectures. Experience withSQL/NoSQLdatabases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB). Experience incloud platforms(preferably AWS – Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, SQS, RDS). Strong understanding of concurrency, async flows, and multi-process execution. Experience using Git and Agile development processes. Ability to work without needing architect-level responsibilities.Good to HaveExperience working withWindows and Mac desktop environments. Knowledge of runtime sandboxing, isolation, and system security boundaries. Experience withUI automation, web runtimes (DOM), Chromium or browser engine internals. Exposure toOS accessibility APIs(Windows UIA, macOS Accessibility, etc.). Working familiarity with non-deterministic UI behaviour. Knowledge of Terraform/CloudFormation (IaC). ML/CV experience is desirable. Experience with LLM-driven decision models. Experience in fintech, payments, or transaction-heavy systems. Knowledge of monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Datadog.Soft SkillsGood communication Experience in working with cross-cultural audiences Demonstrates leadership qualities Always possess the right attitude to create a win-win situation in the team
