IndiGo - Program Manager

Description :The Program Manager will lead multiple technology-driven projects and programs across IndiGos B2C marketplace ecosystem, ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality delivery. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end project management, from planning and execution to delivery and closure while maintaining alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including product, design, development, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects within scope, time, and budget. A strong technical foundation, analytical mindset, and leadership capability are essential to succeed in this role. Experience in Aviation, Travel, or Hospitality-related projects will be an advantage, as will exposure to consumer-facing (B2C) platforms and digital transformation initiatives.Roles & Resposibilties :Program & Project Management :- Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple projects, ensuring all initiatives are executed on time, within scope, and within budget.Strategic Planning & Execution :- Define project goals, success metrics, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives and marketplace strategy.Resource & Budget Management :- Oversee allocation of budgets, manage vendor relationships, and ensure optimal resource utilization.Agile Delivery :- Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to drive collaboration and accountability within delivery teams.Risk & Issue Management :- Identify potential project risks, create mitigation plans, and ensure timely resolution of delivery challenges.Stakeholder Communication :- Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and project reviews.Process Optimization :- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and performance enhancements to drive delivery efficiency.People Leadership :- Mentor team members, foster innovation, and build a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.Typical Interfaces :- Product & Engineering Teams.- Design & QA Teams.- Business Stakeholders.- Vendor & Partner Teams.- Senior Leadership.Tools & Resources :- Project Management Tools : Jira, MS Project, Azure DevOps, Confluence.- Communication Tools : MS Teams, Outlook.- Reporting & Analytics Tools : Power BI, Excel.- Methodologies : Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Waterfall, SDLC Framework.Behavioral Competencies :- Leadership & Team Motivation.- Strong Communication & Stakeholder Management.- Analytical Thinking & Problem-Solving.- Decision-Making Under Pressure.- Adaptability & Continuous Improvement.- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Agility.Qualifications And Experience :- Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred).- Experience : 8+ years of overall experience, including at least 2+ years in project or delivery management roles.Technical Expertise :- Project Management Tools : Jira, Trello, MS Project, Confluence, Azure DevOps.- Methodologies : Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, SDLC.- Domains : Aviation, Travel, Hospitality, E-commerce, or B2C Marketplace projects.- Core Competencies : Budgeting, Resource Planning, Risk Management, Delivery Governance.- Technical Understanding : Exposure to web/app platforms, APIs, and enterprise integration projects.- Reporting : Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and project dashboards.
