Implement and automate data ingestion usingSnowpipe, Streams, and Tasks. UtilizeSnowSQLfor query development, data loading/unloading, and administrative tasks. Design and managedata models, schemas, and warehousesfollowing Snowflake’s best practices. LeverageTime TravelandCloningfeatures for data recovery, auditing, and testing. Optimizequery performancethrough clustering, micro-partitioning, and result caching. Manageuser roles, security policies, and data governancewithin Snowflake. Orchestrate workflows usingAirflow, DBT, or Matillionand integrate withCI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with DevOps and analytics teams for data delivery, monitoring, and optimization.Required Skills & Expertise 5+ yearsof experience inData Engineeringwith strong hands-on expertise inSnowflake Cloud Data PlatformandPython. Proficient inSnowflake components & features: SnowSQL ,Snowpipe ,Streams ,Tasks ,Time Travel ,Zero-Copy Cloning ,Query Optimization ,Virtual Warehouses ,Resource Monitors ,Data Sharing , andData Marketplace. StrongSQL programmingskills and experience inETL design, data transformation, and performance tuning. Experience withAWSPreferred or other major cloud platforms. Hands-on withGit-based version controland agile data delivery practices. Familiarity withsemi-structured data(JSON, Parquet, Avro) anddata warehousing concepts. Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
