We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated E-commerce Website Developer with expertise in both Shopify and WooCommerce to join our expanding team. You'll be a key player in designing, developing, and optimizing high-performing e-commerce websites that drive conversions and provide seamless user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Full-Stack Development: Design and develop e-commerce websites using Shopify and WooCommerce, handling both front-end and back-end development.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into effective e-commerce solutions.
- Custom Development: Create custom themes, functionalities, and integrations to meet client-specific requirements.
- Platform Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of both Shopify (Liquid templating) and WooCommerce (WordPress, PHP).
- Performance Optimization: Optimize website speed, security, and user experience (UX) for maximum performance and conversions.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
- E-commerce Best Practices: Stay up-to-date on the latest e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience: 3+ years of experience developing e-commerce websites using Shopify and WooCommerce.
- Front-end mastery: Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Back-end proficiency: Experience with PHP, MySQL, and server-side development for e-commerce platforms.
- Platform expertise: Deep understanding of Shopify's Liquid templating language and WooCommerce's integration with WordPress.
- Third-party integrations: Experience integrating payment gateways, shipping solutions, and other e-commerce tools.
- Performance optimization: Knowledge of website speed optimization techniques, security best practices, and UX principles.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
