- Female candidates preferred- We are looking for a Procurement Head who will be responsible for developing and executing the procurement strategy for key raw materials such as wheat, sugar, edible oils, and other agricultural inputs. The ideal candidate will bring deep market knowledge, strong supplier networks, and proven negotiation skills to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality sourcing aligned with business objectives.Key Responsibilities will be as below:1. Strategic Sourcing :a. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.b. Manage buying of direct - raw and packaging material and indirect material and servicesc. Spend analysis and control, to ensure sourcing at target price and optimum qualityd. Lead cost negotiations to achieve best quality, price and value2. Supplier Management:a. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.b. Negotiate contracts and long-term agreements with key vendors.3. Inventory planning:a. Lead material planning and ensure no stock outs by building BCPs and alternate sourcing strategies4. Cost Optimization & Budgeting:a. Drive cost-saving initiatives and productivity without compromising quality or service levels.b. Monitor procurement budgets and ensure adherence to financial targets.5. Risk & Compliance: Ensure procurement practices comply with internal policies and external regulations.6. Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a team of buyers and procurement professionals7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:a.
