Position Overview:- We are looking for a Business Analyst with a focus on data observability and integration projects.- The candidate will bridge business and technical teams, gather and analyze requirements, and ensure high-quality data pipelines, integrations, and monitoring solutions.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements.- Translate requirements into functional and technical user stories for the data engineering team.- Work on data observability use cases - data quality, lineage, monitoring, and alerting frameworks.- Support data integration initiatives involving APIs, ETL pipelines, and real-time streaming solutions.- Ensure data reliability, consistency, and accuracy across systems.- Create data flow diagrams, source-to-target mappings, and interface documentation.- Work closely with architects, data engineers, and analysts to validate feasibility and solution design.Required Skills & Qualifications:- 3-6 years of professional experience, including at least 2+ years as Business Analyst.- Proven experience in Data Observability tools (Monte Carlo, Databand, Bigeye, or equivalent).- Strong understanding of Data Integration / ETL processes (Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, Airflow, etc.- Hands-on experience with Agile tools (Azure DevOps preferred).- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.- Exposure to data analytics, data governance, or cloud data platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is a plus.Nice to Have:- SQL, Python, or API-based data systems experience.- Knowledge of DataOps practices and automation.- Background in telecom, finance, or enterprise data domains.Educational Qualification:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.- Agile or Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM I/II) (ref:iimjobs.com)
