Title: Head of HR & IRLocation: 5-12 YearsIndustry: Automotive Tier 1 ManufacturingJob Summary:Head of HR & IRWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of HR & IR to lead the human resources and industrial relations functions within our automotive Tier 1 manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing HR strategies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering a positive work environment, and managing industrial relations to support business growth and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.- Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and development initiatives.- Manage employee engagement, performance management, and succession planning.- Ensure compliance with labor laws, industrial regulations, and company policies.- Handle industrial relations, including negotiations with unions and employee representatives.- Resolve employee grievances and disputes effectively.- Drive initiatives related to employee safety, wellness, and workplace culture.- Monitor HR metrics and analyze trends to improve HR processes.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.- Lead change management initiatives and organizational development efforts.Qualifications & Experience:- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.- 5 to 12 years of experience in HR & IR within the automotive manufacturing sector or similar industry.- Strong understanding of labor laws, industrial relations, and compliance requirements.- Proven track record in handling union negotiations and industrial disputes.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Preferred Attributes:- Prior experience in Tier 1 automotive manufacturing companies.- Familiarity with HR software and HR analytics tools.- Proactive and result-oriented mindset.
