Job Title: PowerShell and Power BI Developer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced PowerShell and Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PowerShell scripting and Power BI report development, with the ability to integrate and automate tasks to enhance business intelligence solutions. This is a great opportunity to contribute to key projects and drive data-driven insights across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automating IT processes, system management, and reporting tasks.
  • Create, update, and manage Power BI reports and dashboards to provide meaningful business insights.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI, ensuring seamless data transformation and visualization.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize PowerShell scripts and Power BI reports to improve performance.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and training for end-users to ensure proper usage of Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation solutions and optimize business processes.
  • Ensure data integrity and security while handling sensitive business data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Strong experience in developing and managing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
  • Solid knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and Power Query.
  • Familiarity with data sources integration, such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with data transformation and ETL processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize PowerShell scripts and Power BI reports.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure, SQL Server, or other cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • PowerShell scripting in a Windows Server environment.
  • Familiarity with other Business Intelligence tools and technologies.
