L2/L3 Protocol

We are looking for Functional & system test engineers with deep understanding of L2 & L3 technologies along with excellent automation skills. Ideal candidate would have in depth understanding of L2 & L3 technologies like DHCP, LDAP, LACP, STP, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS VPN, Segment routing etc... along with automation native mindset. Exposure to enterprise and Telecom service provider systems development & testing would be an added advantage.

Job Description:

• Take ownership of features from concept to delivery through Automation & Manual testing
• Experience in testing products built using open-source components.
• Deep understanding of switching & Routing technologies including protocols like DHCP, STP, IS-IS BGP etc.
• To develop & maintain automation suites for long term usage
• Hands-on automation skills using Python/Robot based framework
• Experience working in a fast-paced agile development environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up like environment

Skills and Expertise:

• Experience in L2 & L3 technologies such as VLAN, DHCP, STP, ICMP/IGMP, Radius, IS-IS BGP, Segment routing, LDP/MPLS, VPNs are desired.
• CCNA or CCNP R&S certification would be an added advantage.
• Robot/Python based automation skills would be mandatory
• Working knowledge of IGMP/PIM-SM/DHCP/IPoE/PPPoE protocols.
• Hands on testing experience on products such as switches and routers.
• Hands on testing experience of routing protocols like BGP and IS-IS.
• Hands on experience on testing Whitebox devices with SDN technology.
• Good understanding on Broadband access networks like FTTH/FTTB are desired
• Experience using traffic generators like Spirent, IXIA, Agilent etc.. would be required

Qualification and Experience

• 3 to 8 years of industry experience in in testing enterprise, service provided E2E solutions
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering
