We are seeking an experienced and passionate Odoo Developer to join our dynamic team.As an Odoo Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality Odoo applications to meet our clients needs.You will collaborate with various departments, including project managers, business analysts, and other developers, to deliver innovative solutions and ensure successful project implementation.Roles And Responsibilities : - Analyze and understand project requirements, specifications, and client needs to develop tailored Odoo applications.- Design, develop, and implement Odoo modules and applications, both from scratch and by customizing existing modules.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop well-integrated Odoo applications that meet business requirements.- Perform code reviews, identify and fix bugs, and optimize the performance of the Odoo applications.- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.- Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and support for future application updates.- Provide guidance and training to less experienced developers, contributing to the overall growth of the team.- Troubleshoot and provide technical support for existing applications, addressing client concerns and ensuring prompt resolution.- Stay up-to-date with the latest Odoo releases, features, and best practices to ensure that the team utilizes the most efficient and effective methodologies.- Participate in regular meetings, presentations, and progress reports to communicate project status and milestones to stakeholders.Requirements : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Proven experience as an Odoo Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PostgreSQL.- In-depth knowledge of Odoo framework, API, and module development.- Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and analytical skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and best practices.Preferred Qualifications : - Odoo Certification (e.g. , Odoo Developer Certification) is a plus.- Experience with other ERP systems or CRM platforms, such as SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce.- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.- Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and server (ref:hirist.tech)
