Job Title:Video Editor Location:GITAM University (Visakhapatnam / Hyderabad / Bengaluru Campus) Experience:3–4 yearsJob Summary: The ideal candidate will have experience in editing academic and promotional content, with a strong understanding of short-form video trends and motion graphics. You will work closely with the marketing team to produce high-quality content for digital platforms.Key Responsibilities: Edit video content fromlectures, seminars, student fests, and campus eventsinto engagingreels and YouTube Shorts . Editmarketing content , including promotional videos and digital campaigns. Handle editing ofstudent and professor video bytesto ensure clarity, consistency, and storytelling impact. Applystrong storytelling skillsto create emotionally engaging and brand-aligned content. Collaborate with the content, design, and marketing teams todeliver the best creative output . Addmotion graphics, transitions, and animationsto elevate content. Performcolour grading, audio balancing , and final rendering for various digital platforms. Ensure all content adheres to GITAM’s branding and quality standards. Support videoshoots, photography, and basic videographywhen needed. Stay updated on content trends for platforms likeInstagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn .Required Skills: Proficiency inAdobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, and Lightroom . Strong knowledge ofmotion graphicsand visual storytelling techniques. Experience in editingshort-form contentfor social media platforms. Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines. Attention to detail with a creative and proactive approach.Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of social media video strategies and current trends. Basic shooting/editing experience with DSLRs or mirrorless cameras is a plus. Prior experience in an academic or creative marketing environment is advantageous
