Our mission is to empower MSMEs through strategic interventions that enhance their competitiveness and sustainability, and our vision is to be the catalyst for MSME transformation and growth in the global economy.Role DescriptionResponsible for analysing import dependency, economic potential, and MSME competitiveness to inform sector prioritisation and policy interventions for import substitution.Key Responsibilities:Study trade, import, and industrial data to identify high-potential sectors and products.Conduct macro- and micro-economic assessments related to MSME development.Evaluate policy frameworks impacting import substitution and local manufacturing.Support preparation of economic models and data-based policy recommendations.Required Qualifications:Postgraduate / PhD in Economics, Applied Economics, or Development Studies.Minimum 10 years of experience in economic policy, trade and industrial analysis, or MSME sector economics.
