We’re Hiring – Senior Metocean Engineer / Coastal Modeler | ISIR.AI ISIR.AI is expanding its Marine & Coastal Divisionand is looking for a highly experiencedSenior Metocean Engineer / Coastal Modelerto join our dynamic and growing team.We are seekingprofessionals with strong expertise in hydrodynamic modeling, metocean data analysis, and Python-based workflows. Key Responsibilities Conducthydrodynamic modelingofwind, wave, current, and water levelsusingMIKE 21 / MIKE Zerosuite. Performreturn period and extreme event analysis(cyclonic and non-cyclonic). Modelwave dynamics, sediment transport, and coastal morphology changes. Validate models with observed and satellite datasets. Automate data preprocessing and post-processing usingPython. Preparetechnical reports and visualizationsfor regional and international projects. Required Skills & Tools MIKE 21 / MIKE Zero (HD, SW, ST, Coupled Modules) Pythonfor metocean data analysis, visualization, and automation Strong understanding ofhydrodynamics, wave mechanics, and coastal processes Familiarity with return period statisticsandextreme value analysis Experience in handling ERA5, ECMWF, or similar reanalysis datasets Preferred Qualifications Ph.D. or M.TechinOcean Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Marine Science, or related fields 7–10 yearsof experience in applied metocean or coastal modeling Demonstrated experience inoffshore energy, LNG, or port development projectsIf you’re ready to take on challenging and meaningful projects, we’d love to hear from you.
