Position Overview:
We're seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager with exceptional relationship-building skills to join our team. This role will focus on developing and nurturing strong relationships with an elite group of architects and interior designers across India, which forms the foundation of our business. The ideal candidate will employ a consultative approach, ensuring all touch points of our brand resonate quality, precision, and utmost customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Account Research & Development:
- Research, identify, and curate a list of top-tier architects and interior designers in India.
- Strategically segment and prioritize accounts based on potential project volume and strategic fit.
2. Relationship Building & Management:
- Collaborate with business development executives to set up and facilitate product presentations.
- Regularly engage with accounts to understand their needs, ensuring they are informed of our latest product offerings.
- Maintain a CRM with key dates such as birthdays and anniversaries for each account and plan thoughtful gestures like gifting.
3. Sales & Follow-Up:
- Post-presentation, ensure regular follow-ups to gauge interest and solicit feedback.
- Proactively pursue potential project leads and opportunities to collaborate.
4. Customer Service & Touchpoints:
- Field incoming customer inquiries, ensuring they are promptly directed to the appropriate internal teams.
- Manage and respond to customer interactions on social media, emails, and other platforms.
5. Feedback & Quality Assurance:
- Periodically connect with customers post-project completion to gather feedback on our product quality, design, and overall service experience.
- Ensure a continuous feedback loop with internal teams to drive improvement and excellence.
6. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions, feedback, and correspondence.
- Generate regular reports on account engagements, feedback, and sales conversion metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA from a premier institute will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in sales, customer relationship management, or key account management within the home improvement or home furnishing sectors.
- Strong familiarity with the architect and interior design community in India.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
