Solution Architect & Presales Lead - Manufacturing Operation Management (MOM)/ Manufacturing Execution System (MES)

Location: Pune or Mumbai

Note: This position has no direct reports or people management responsibility but has the responsibility bring together the virtual team of Industry 4.0 /IIOT experts.


Job Responsibilities:

  • sales cycle while demonstrating a deep understanding of industry/customer needs and MOM/MES value proposition.
  • describe the technical, functional, and commercial solution context, transform customer RFP/ RFI requirements into specific solution architecture & design.
  • and present our proposal, Technical and functional solutions in front of all levels of customer stakeholders - Manufacturing/Business Director/architects, Enterprise architect, CXO
  • with various geography portfolio and segment team to support selling smart factory /MES/MOM offering to target accounts.
  • the short-term strategic CONSULTING projects in MOM and MES areas.
  • strength and weakness against competitors in target industries.
  • with product vendor to define solution and mature the practices.
  • and defend industry analyst audit and requirements.
  • reusable quality content related to proposal and capability presentations.


Skill Set and Experience

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in field of Manufacturing Execution system/ Manufacturing operation management in discrete industries (Auto / Aero / complex or hybrid manufacturing)
  • Minimum 5 years in presales and solutioning Manufacturing Execution system, Manufacturing operation management
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in leading the presales activities for MES/MOM practice.
  • Must have end to end MES/MOM implementation including Machine connectivity, ERP and other system connectivity experience for large multi-sites, multi geography, multi business process / modules (Planning & Scheduling, Production, Quality, warehouse, Manufacturing intelligence)
  • Experience of end-to-end implementation of any one or two MES/MOM products like DS Apriso, SAP ME/DMC or Siemens OpsCenter -Discrete
  • Well versed with international Standard like MESA, ISA 95
  • Must have Manufacturing consulting experience.
  • Must have Business orientation and consulting mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering or Technology, Desirable Master of Technology or MBA (master’s in business administration)

Job Title:Solution Architect & Presales Lead – Smart Factory/Industry 4.0 - Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT), Cloud, Data and AI Analytics

Job Responsibilities

  • Must have end to end Industry 4.0/ IIOT with smart factory use cases like Manufacturing operation intelligence and insights, Predictive Maintenance, Predictive Quality, Golden batch, Plant control tower using Azure IOT/ AWS IOT /Siemens insight implementation.
  • Must have implementation experience for connecting manufacturing shop floor system including Machine PLCs/SCADA, historian, DCS, MES, MOM, LIMS, ERP and CMMS systems for various sites.
  • Must have experience in large scale, multi-site implementation with Azure/AWS or other Edge, Apache KAFKA, streaming analytics, Data Modeling SQL/No SQL-Document, Graph, Time series, Micro services, and data/AI analytics at large scale industrialized manner.
  • Well versed with international standard like RAMI 4.0, Industrial internet Consortium
  • Must have Manufacturing consulting experience.
  • Must have Business orientation and consulting mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English
