the jobKey Responsibilities:- Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of insurance software products from ideation to delivery.- Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications and development roadmaps.- Oversee and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.- Drive user experience and design decisions with a customer-first mindset.- Engage with clients, internal stakeholders, and partners to gather requirements and market feedback.- Conduct competitive analysis and stay up to date with emerging trends in InsurTech and full-stack technologies.- Manage agile development cycles, sprint planning, and backlog grooming in coordination with the technical team.- Lead product demos, go-to-market planning, and solution training for internal and external users.- Assist the product team by providing expertise/suggestions in the areas of design, storytelling, interaction design, visual design, user research and user behavior.- Proactively identify risks and issues, assist with gap analysis and develop proof-of-concepts.- Mentor and manage a team of developers and product specialists.Required Qualifications:- Minimum 12 years of experience in full-stack software development and microservices-based architecture.- Hands-on technical expertise in React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and modern web application architecture.- Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance domain (general).- Experience in developing or managing commercial insurance products or platforms is a strong plus.- Strong experience in agile methodologies, product backlog management, and stakeholder communication.- Prior experience leading cross-functional technical teams or product engineering squads.- Strong quantitative and qualitative skills to support product decisions, define KPIs, prioritization skills- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, MCA or a related field; MBA or Product Management certification is a Experience with DevOps, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).- Familiarity with insurance regulatory requirements and compliance standards.- Background in enterprise SaaS product development.
