About the organizations:

The Movement for Alternatives and Youth Awareness (MAYA) is a not-for-profit organization that has been working in the sectors of education, livelihood and health for more than three decades, addressing issues related to child labour, early child development, and skill building. These initiatives of MAYA have become independent entities known as Prajayatna, LabourNet, and Maya Organic, all of which have a substantial impact on the ground as NGOs/social enterprises.

Prajayatna is a development initiative working towards improving the quality of education of 'all' children in Government schools and Anganwadi’s. We work with local communities, teachers, and the system in creating well-governed Government schools and Anganwadi and in ensuring the delivery of quality education for all children through these institutions thereby bringing about a systemic change in the policy, structures, and practices of the education system at large. ​


Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will play a key role in the development and implementation of fundraising activities, to secure funding for program work and network and build the profile of the organization.

●       Develop new institutional and corporate, and individual partnerships to meet the organization’s goals and objectives.

●       Develop systems, process and strategies for individual, corporate partnerships, increase reach out to large and medium sized corporate organizations for project partnerships, employee engagement, pay roll giving programs, donation drives, cause related marketing tie-ups, obtaining permission in the corporate/malls/airport/public areas for fundraising purposes etc.

●       Build a network of donors by tapping into Organizations, Foundations, HNI's and foreign corporations, and develop databases.

●       To develop communication materials, and communicate effectively with potential donors about the organization and its programs including proposal writing to presentation, managing relationships etc.

●       Ensure compliance to all processes related to donor management and ensure timely and accurate reviews and reporting with the other team members.

●        Develop strategies for increasing the brand of the organization and raise resources and systems for the same.

●       Updating regularly on social media about the organization’s programmes to increase visibility

●       Ensure documentation of all procedures, donor details, reports, etc.

●       This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, other jobs will be there as per the requirement of the management. 

Required Qualification& Experience:

●       Preferably any master's degree in communication/ Marketing with a minimum of 5 years of experience in resource mobilization and communication in development/ Corporate Fundraising /Corporate marketing.

●       Having strong communication/presentation skills both written and verbal along with an ability to take initiative and a drive to achieve results with in time frame.

●       Excellent interpersonal skills- Persuasive and self-confident

●       Willing to travel as and when needed.

●       Well acquainted with IT. 

Salary:

Total CTO – Salary will be according to the qualifications and experience. (Clearly mention the expected CTO)
