PurposeThe Key Account Sales Manager will drive strategic sales growth for Gopanis single-use and advanced filtration solutions within the biopharma segment. The role focuses on deep engagement with vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, and broader biologics manufacturing customers. The individual will build trusted relationships with bioprocess, MSAT, validation, and process engineering teams and support them through trials, technical evaluations, approvals, and scale-up cycles.Key Products & Solutions- Single-use assemblies for buffer and media preparation- Capsule and cartridge filters for upstream and downstream bioprocess steps- Sterile connectors, tubing sets, transfer lines- Bioreactor filtration, venting, and process protection solutions- Small-scale development and pilot-scale filtration assembliesPrimary Customer Profiles- Bioprocess and MSAT teams in biopharma plants- Upstream and downstream process engineers- Process development and scale-up teams- Quality assurance, validation, and regulatory support teamsKey Responsibilities- Identify, map, and penetrate strategic biopharma accounts to drive adoption of single-use and filtration products.- Plan, coordinate, and execute customer trials for single-use assemblies, capsule filters, and other bioprocess solutions.- Collaborate with internal application engineering teams to translate customer requirements into robust technical proposals.- Manage end-to-end sales funnel from lead qualification to validation, approval, and commercial scaling.- Develop comprehensive account plans, growth roadmaps, and opportunity pipelines for high-value customers.- Facilitate documentation, compliance support, validation data, and technical clarifications to ensure seamless customer adoption.- Position Gopani as a trusted technical partner by demonstrating strong process understanding and solution-driven engagement.Candidate Profile Education & Experience- B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related fields.- MBA in sales is required- 38 years of experience in technical sales serving biopharma or high-end pharmaceutical manufacturing.- Senior candidates (8+ years) may come from broader bioprocess or single-use backgrounds with flexibility in formal education.- Prior exposure to bioreactors, buffer/media preparation workflows, or bioprocess filtration systems is preferred.- Experience with single-use technologies, sterile filtration, bioprocess equipment, or process consumables is highly advantageous.
