Job Overview:

The Head of trade Leisure and Umrah will be responsible for promoting and marketing Umrah tourism in the Source Market on behalf of the Client. This role requires a dynamic, self-starter who can work effectively with travel agents, tour operators, airlines, and other travel industry partners to develop and implement marketing strategies that increase awareness and drive demand for Umrah tourism.


Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Key Accounts & Leisure Head along with the Spiritual & Airlines Head to develop and implement trade strategy and plans.

• Build relationships with travel agents (Leisure and Umrah) and tour operators in India.

• Promote Saudi Arabia as a tourism destination to the Indian market.

• Lead the product development (Leisure and Umrah) for the India market.

• Track and analyze market trends and competition.

• Report on progress and results to the Country Manager for India.

• Work with the marketing team to develop marketing plans for the trade.

• Attend trade events on behalf of the client. This will involve promoting Saudi Arabia as a tourism destination and meeting with potential partners.

• Build relationships with the top management of top trade partners. This includes travel agents, tour operators, and airlines.

• Establishing goals and objectives for the team and setting priorities for achieving them

• Planning and focusing on other segments like VFR, Business, MICE etc.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in travel industry marketing and trade management, with specific experience in promoting Umrah tourism.

• Strong understanding of the travel industry and the dynamics of travel trade.

• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and trade programs.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience in managing budgets and financial planning.

• Strong organizational and project management skills
