Qualification: MSc in Life Sciences (Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related fields)

Job Summary:

We are seeking two skilled qPCR and PCR Lab Technicians with 2-3 years of hands-on experience to join our client's dynamic laboratory team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in molecular biology techniques and be proficient in conducting qPCR and PCR assays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine qPCR and PCR tests for various applications, including diagnostics and research projects.
  • Prepare and process samples, ensuring accurate and reliable test results.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, including qPCR machines.
  • Ensure compliance with lab safety protocols and quality control standards.
  • Document and analyze experimental data, preparing reports as required.
  • Assist in the development and optimization of new protocols for molecular testing.
  • Manage lab inventory, including reagents and consumables, and ensure timely ordering.
  • Collaborate with the research and development team for project-related tasks.

Requirements:

  • MSc in Life Sciences (Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field).
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience with qPCR and PCR techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of molecular biology principles and laboratory practices.
  • Experience with DNA/RNA extraction and sample preparation.
  • Proficient in using laboratory equipment, including thermocyclers, pipettes, and centrifuges.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
