Job Title:Senior Executive – AccountsExperience:5 to 7 years Location:Guindy, Chennai Department:Accounts and Finance Reporting To:Senior Manager – Accounts and FinancePosition Overview We are looking for adetail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Executiveto manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and hands-on experience in GST, TDS, reconciliation, and vendor management within an e-commerce environment.Role and Responsibilities Ensuretimely and accurate filing of GST and TDSreturns and prepare monthly audit sheets matching with books of accounts. Performreconciliation of GSTR 2B vs Books, and track allElectronic Cash Ledger transactions. ManageAccounts Payable (AP)andAccounts Receivable (AR)functions including vendor payments, collections, and monthly reconciliations. Maintain and reconcileGeneral Ledger accountson a monthly basis. Collaborate with internal departments togather financial datafor budgeting and financial planning. Ensure allinvoices and paymentsare accurately recorded and classifiedbill-wisein Tally. Trackpurchases from Purchase Order (PO) to Goods Receipt Note (GRN)and prepare reconciliation statements. Create and maintain amaster sheet for all MSME vendors, monitor payment status, and ensure adherence to due dates.Skills and Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. 5–7 years of experience in accounting, preferably inE-Commerce or FMCGsectors. Strong proficiency inTally ERPandMicrosoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). Good understanding ofGST, TDS, and statutory compliance. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines. Strong communication and coordination skills across teams.
