Credit Manager Unsecured Loan (Diversity Hiring)


Job Description : As a Credit Manager for Unsecured Loans, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the unsecured loan portfolio within the NBFC/BFSI sector. Your role will focus on overseeing credit processes, enhancing loan performance, and driving sales.

Responsibilities :

- Credit Assessment: Evaluate and approve credit applications for unsecured loans, ensuring adherence to company policies and risk parameters.

- Portfolio Management: Manage the unsecured loan portfolio, monitoring performance, and implementing strategies to improve loan quality and reduce delinquency.

- Sales & Business Development: Drive unsecured loan sales through collaboration with sales teams and development of new strategies to increase market share.

- Risk Management: Assess credit risks and implement risk mitigation measures to minimize exposure and maintain a healthy loan portfolio.

- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues related to loan servicing.

- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.

- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze loan performance metrics, providing reports and insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.

- Team Leadership: Lead and support a team of credit analysts and loan officers, providing guidance and training to enhance team performance.

Qualifications :

Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in credit management, with a focus on unsecured loan sales and retail loans within the NBFC/BFSI sector.

Skills: Strong understanding of unsecured loan products, excellent analytical skills, proficiency in credit assessment and risk management, and effective sales and negotiation abilities.

Education: Relevant degree or professional qualifications in finance or related fields.

Key Competencies :

- Expertise in unsecured loan processes and sales strategies.

- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

- Ability to manage risk and maintain compliance.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing loan portfolios.
