What will you contribute?Analyze, design, develop, deliver, evaluate and plan learning solutions. The Learning Design Specialist will work with Subject Matter Experts and other Instructional Design team members to create curriculum assets that will support internal learners, with a specific focus on creating content relevant to employees in the Technology, Product Management and Sales role families at Finastra.The Learning Design Specialist will use strong interpersonal, written, and instructional design skills to design, develop and maintain documents and assets such as training guides, e-learning, micro-learning and procedural online videos. The Learning Design Specialist will ensure that these curriculum assets are developed and maintained according to company and industry training standards and processes.Responsibilities & Deliverables:Partner with business stakeholders to identify performance gaps and learning needs aligned with strategic prioritiesConduct needs assessments and capability analyses to inform learning solutionsDesign end-to-end learning experiences using instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and modern learning methodologiesDevelop scalable, high-impact learning programs including digital, blended, and virtual instructor-led formatsCreate engaging content using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Rise. Powtoon, Camtasia) and learning platforms (e.g., LMS, LXP)Apply learning science and data-driven insights to optimize program effectiveness and learner engagementCollaborate with SMEs to translate complex concepts into accessible learning materialsImplement learning solutions using agile or iterative development approachesEvaluate learning programs using qualitative and quantitative methods to measure impact on performance and business outcomesContinuously improve learning solutions based on feedback, analytics, and evolving business needsChampion the use of innovative technologies (e.g., AI, simulations) to enhance learning experiencesEnsure learning programs are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with global standards and compliance requirementsSupport change management and communication strategies to drive adoption of learning initiativesMaintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to stay current on industry trends and best practicesContribute to the development of learning design standards, templates, and toolkits for enterprise-wide use Required Skills, Experience, Education:Technical Skills Proficiency with learning technologies and tools such as: Learning Management Systems or Platforms (e.g., Workday Learning, Pluralsight, Linkedin Learning)Authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Rise, Powtoon, Camtasia)Collaboration tools (e.g., Miro, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint)Data and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, xAPI/LRS) for learning evaluationFamiliarity with digital learning formats including microlearning, video, simulations, social learning and mobile learningUnderstanding of SCORM, AICC, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1)Core Skills Strong consultative and stakeholder management skillsExcellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to translate complex business needs into learner-centric solutionsAnalytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions and measure impactCreative problem-solving and innovation in learning designStrong project management and organizational skillsExperience 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a related learning and development roleProven experience consulting with business stakeholders to assess learning needs and deliver impactful solutionsExperience designing and developing learning programs in a corporate or enterprise environment, preferably in financial services or technology sectorsDemonstrated success in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, global, and matrixed organizationEducation Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Education, Human Resources, or a related fieldIndustry certification (e.g., CPLP, ATD, Instructional Design Certificate) is a strong assetTimings: 8AM-5pm We are proud to offer a range of incentives to our employees worldwide.
