SNR & Company - Senior Manager - Indirect Tax

Key Responsibilities:- Handle end-to-end GST compliance, including filing returns, reconciliations, and assessments.- Manage Income Tax matters, such as ITR filings, tax planning, and scrutiny assessments.- Draft replies, appeals, and representations for departmental notices and proceedings.- Attend hearings and interactions with tax authorities on behalf of clients.- Provide advisory support on taxation queries and ensure compliance with evolving tax laws.- Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements.Required Qualifications and Skills:- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification; candidates with substantial relevant experience in taxation will also be considered.- Proven hands-on experience in GST and Income Tax domains, including drafting and departmental interactions.- Strong understanding of Indian tax laws, rules, and recent amendments.- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.- Proficiency in tax software and MS Office tools.- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a client-facing role.What We Offer:- Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.- Opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning.- Collaborative work environment with work-life balance.- Exposure to diverse clients across industries.
