Role : ServiceNow Tester
Location : Bhubaneswar, Odisha
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and estimates aligned with project objectives.
- Identify test scenarios, test cases, and test data to ensure thorough test coverage.
- Lead and manage test execution activities, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Utilize test automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Monitor test progress, identify and resolve issues, and report on test status.
- Track and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve defects.
- Analyze defect trends and identify root causes to prevent future issues.
- Generate detailed test reports, including test metrics, defect reports, and test summary reports.
- Present test results and findings to project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business users to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Provide guidance and support to UAT testers.
- Analyze UAT results and identify potential issues.
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance their testing skills and knowledge.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve project goals.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with at least 1 year of experience in ServiceNow testing.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Catalog.
- Experience in creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, TestComplete).
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (eAgile, Waterfall).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
