Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and development of robust, scalable software solutions for our video telematics platform, ensuring high-quality performance and integration with Akteena's cutting-edge technology.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, firmware, data science, and AI engineers, to ensure seamless integration of software components with the broader platform.

- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence aligned with Akteena's mission.

- Conduct rigorous code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, design patterns, and maintaining high-quality codebases.

- Continuously stay updated on emerging technologies, incorporating them to improve our software architecture and development processes.

Key Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, preferably with exposure to IoT, video processing, or related domains.

- Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java, with a strong grasp of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.

- Experience or knowledge in video processing, computer vision, or telematics is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively in collaborative environments.

Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) :

- Develop and deliver robust and scalable software solutions for Akteena's video telematics platform, consistently aligning with the company's technology vision.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring the efficient integration of software and hardware, AI models, and data science insights.

- Promote a culture of excellence by mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development.

- Ensure high-quality code standards through detailed code reviews and regular performance evaluations.

- Stay ahead of technological trends, contributing innovative solutions to enhance Akteena's software platforms.
