Project Manager

Job Overview :As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of data analytics & data science projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, allocate project resources, and mitigate risks to achieve project objectives. You will act as an analytics translator, bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that data science and engineering solutions align with client needs and objectives. You will be the key point of contact for clients, providing leadership, strategic guidance, and ensuring the overall success of data science and engineering Responsibilities : - Project Leadership : Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of data science and data engineering projects, including scope definition, planning, execution, and monitoring. Ensure timely and successful delivery of data-driven solutions that meet client expectations.- Client Relationship Management : Serve as the key point of contact for clients, understanding their business challenges and data needs. Translate client requirements into actionable insights and project deliverables.- Team Coordination : Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration across technical and non-technical teams. Facilitate communication and ensure all teams are aligned on project goals and timelines.- Solution Design and Strategy : Collaborate with technical experts to design data science and engineering solutions that address the business problems at hand. Ensure the solutions are scalable, practical, and aligned with the clients goals.- Analytics Translation : Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex data science and engineering concepts into understandable terms for non-technical audiences. Provide clear, actionable insights to the client.- Stakeholder Management : Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, business teams, and external vendors. Keep stakeholders informed of project progress, risks, and achievements.- Risk Management : Identify potential risks or roadblocks early in the project lifecycle and proactively address them. Ensure that projects stay within scope, budget, and timeline.- Quality Assurance : Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of data-driven solutions delivered to clients. Monitor project progress and quality metrics to ensure high standards are maintained.- Business Development : Participate in scoping and proposal writing for new data science and engineering projects.- Continuous Improvement : Stay up-to-date with industry trends in data science and engineering, and share insights with the team to drive innovation and continuous improvement in project Skills and Qualifications : - 10+ years of experience in project management, specifically in data analytics or related fields.- Proven track record of successfully delivering data analytics projects.- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Skills : - Experience with data analytics tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.- Knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks.- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic Attributes :- Client-Focused : You are comfortable working with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into actionable data strategies.- Proactive and Self-Driven : You take ownership of projects and are proactive in identifying challenges and opportunities.- Collaborative : You thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment, working alongside both technical and non-technical team members.- Strategic Thinking : You understand how data solutions can solve real business problems and are able to make strategic decisions to drive project Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.- Masters degree in a relevant field is a plus.
