Technical Associate

Tecnostac Systems Private Limited, established in 2022, is a dynamic FinTech start-up founded by seasoned professionals with over 30 years of experience in Financial Technology and Global Banking. This extensive experience has enabled Tecnostac to provide innovative solutions to Savings and Credit Cooperative Organizations (SACCOs) and financial institutions in Africa, helping them gain traction and expand their customer base. Tecnostac Systems offers comprehensive banking solutions for the cooperative sector, including the development of Co-Bank+®, a specialized core banking solution for SACCOs and Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) in Africa.

We are seeking technical experts to join our development team. We aim to strengthen our team with specialized professionals who can bring their expertise and innovative thinking to our dynamic projects.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Technical Associate with 3-5 years of experience in .NET and Java technologies to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will have exposure to financial product/project development environments, with a preference for core banking application development and support. Experience in core banking projects and familiarity with SDLC are highly desirable for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, maintain, and support core banking applications using .NET and Java technologies.
2. Collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure effective integration and functionality of core banking solutions.
3. Assist in the implementation and management of core banking projects, adhering to SDLC principles.
4. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for core banking applications and related systems.
5. Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of our solutions.

Qualifications:

1. 3-5 years of experience in technical roles, with proficiency in .NET and Java technologies.
2. Exposure to financial product/project development environments is essential.
3. Experience in core banking application development and support is preferred.
4. Familiarity with SDLC principles and practices.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
6. Effective communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

1. Knowledge of core banking systems and processes.
2. Understanding of regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
