The candidate will join a growing team of Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers in Market Intelligence (MI) Enterprise Solutions (ES) at S&P Global. We work alongside product teams across MI ES on break-through ideas using tools and techniques spanning the entire spectrum of Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Gen AI, Operations Research, Data and Machine Learning Engineering. We are responsible for the end-to-end data science life cycle, right from ideation to developing Proof of concepts (PoC) and finally building and maintaining production data science and applications/products/features

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and data science, with experience working on large scale machine learning projects. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to develop innovative solutions that drive business growth.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms for large scale machine learning projects.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to design and deploy scalable machine learning solutions.
  • Conduct data analysis and feature engineering to extract valuable insights from large datasets.
  • Optimize and fine-tune machine learning models to improve performance and accuracy.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and apply them to enhance existing models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions on time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in AWS Cloud Stack
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Coding experience in Python (Expert Level) to write robust and high standard Machine Learning code; experience with version control (preferably Git)
  • Hands on project lifecycle experience, from business analysis to productization
  • Experience working with databases (e.g. SQL)
  • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, including deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
  • Experience working on large scale machine learning projects, handling big data, and distributed computing frameworks like Hadoop or Spark.
  • Proficient in data manipulation, data preprocessing, and feature engineering. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
