They work with both corporate technology departments and corporate business units to develop value-added decision support solutions, not just new technology deployments.

Installation and Configuration :


- Deploy and set up Tableau Server or Tableau Online, including installation, configuration, and integration with other systems or databases.


Maintenance and upgrades :


- Perform regular maintenance tasks, manage software upgrades and patches, and monitor system health to ensure optimal performance.


User Management :


- Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies.


Troubleshooting and support :


- Address technical issues, diagnose problems, and provide timely support to users encountering Tableau-related issues.


Performance Optimization :


- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.


Backup and Recovery :


- Develop and maintain backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to safeguard Tableau environments and data.


Documentation and Training :


- Create documentation, guidelines, and training materials for users, promoting best practices and efficient use of Tableau tools.


Collaboration :

Qualifications :


- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.


- Proven experience as a Tableau administrator or in a similar role.


- Proficiency in Tableau Server or Tableau Online administration.


- Strong knowledge of database management systems, SQL, and data warehousing concepts.


- Familiarity with security protocols, access controls, and data governance principles.


- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate. Tableau certifications (optional).


Preferred Skills :


- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) for automation tasks.


- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP) and their integration with Tableau.


- Understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques
