Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive with HR experience to join our logistics team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting operations along with basic HR functions, and the ability to manage day-to-day financial and employee-related activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting records and documentation.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable activities.
  • Prepare and maintain sales, purchase, and expense entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements, vendor statements, and ledgers.
  • Assist in monthly closing, GST filings, TDS calculations, and other statutory compliances.
  • Coordinate with auditors and support internal audits.
  • Generate financial reports as required.

HR Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recruitment processes (screening, scheduling interviews, onboarding).
  • Maintain employee attendance, payroll data, and leave records.
  • Manage employee documentation and HR databases.
  • Support HR policies, employee engagement, and compliance activities.
  • Handle basic employee queries and coordinate with management on HR matters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, HR, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounts & HR, preferably in a logistics or supply chain company.
  • Knowledge of Tally / ERP software and MS Excel is mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and payroll procedures.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
