Job Description :


We are seeking a seasoned Scrum Master with significant expertise in - Data Analytics- and - Application Development- . This role is vital to driving the successful delivery of complex projects that involve both development and analytics while ensuring teams are empowered and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate should possess a - hands-on technical background- in development technologies like - Java/.Net- and demonstrate deep proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies


Key Responsibilities Overview :


1. Leadership in Agile/Scrum Ceremonies :

- The Scrum Master will lead critical Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.


- This ensures the development process remains on track, objectives are clear, and teams can deliver high-quality outcomes on time.


- By facilitating these ceremonies, the Scrum Master helps to establish structure and rhythm within the project lifecycle, which supports continuous delivery.

2. Collaboration with Product Owners and Stakeholders :

- The role requires close collaboration with - product owners , development teams , and stakeholders to define and refine project goals, scope, and timelines.


- By working as a bridge between business and technical teams, the Scrum Master ensures that business needs are clearly translated into actionable development tasks, while also setting realistic expectations for timelines and deliverables.

3. Managing End-to-End Project Lifecycles :

- The Scrum Master is responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle-from initiation to delivery.


- This involves aligning the objectives and deliverables of data analytics teams and application development team .


- In complex environments, this requires juggling multiple priorities and ensuring that all technical aspects (development, data handling, integration) are in sync with business needs.

4. Impediment and Risk Management :

- A key responsibility is to identify and resolve any impediments or risks that might hinder project progress.


- By working proactively to remove obstacles, the Scrum Master ensures that teams remain productive and able to focus on delivering high-quality software without disruptions.

5. Supporting High-Quality Software Development :

- The Scrum Master will support teams in developing high-quality applications by ensuring technical and business objectives align.


- This may involve guiding teams in best practices for software development and data analytics while ensuring technical specifications meet the evolving needs of the business.

6. Tracking and Communicating Progress :

- The Scrum Master will be responsible for tracking project progress and communicating it to stakeholders.


- This involves monitoring key metrics, including sprint KPIs (velocity, burndown charts, etc.), and providing transparent reports on the status of projects to ensure stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.

7. - Fostering a Culture of Continuous Improvement- :

- The role demands a leader who encourages the team to reflect and improve after every sprint.


- By fostering a culture of continuous improvement , the Scrum Master helps teams optimize their processes, experiment with new approaches, and find ways to enhance productivity and software quality over time.

8. Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- The Scrum Master must ensure seamless collaboration between data analysts software engineers QA teams and DevOps


- Given the interdisciplinary nature of projects, this coordination ensures that data insights feed into development cycles effectively, QA processes are aligned with development outputs, and DevOps practices ensure smooth deployment pipelines.

9. Mentoring on Data Analytics and Application Development :

- Given the technical complexity of projects, the Scrum Master will apply their deep expertise in Data Analytics and Application Development- to guide and mentor the team.


- This includes sharing best practices for handling data, structuring development workflows, and integrating analytics into software solutions.


- This mentorship helps raise the technical proficiency of teams and ensures they are equipped to handle complex tasks efficiently.
