That will be a mix of OMS+Java (30%+70%).

Core Accountabilities :

- Build and extend applications in a cloud (AWS) environment using Spring Boot , Kafka , EKS , Apigee and AWS components.

- Ensure that customer facing applications are designed to be highly available, observable, and durable via software engineering best practices.

- Work with Product and Project Owners to understand end-user requirements, formulate user stories and then translate those into pragmatic and effective technical solutions.

- Work closely with onsite and remote frontend, backend, and operations engineers to ensure deliverables are well-documented, secure, and resilient.

- Help engineering management prioritize technical roadmap and to identify gaps in process and planning.

- Help to establish and document development best practices and ensure that these practices are adhered to.

Required Skills, Experience :

- Having some past experience or knowledge of OMS system would be a plus.

- Minimum 8 years of real-world experience developing, deploying, scaling, and maintaining AWS cloud based Microservices and APIs.

- Must have development experience on Java/j2ee, Spring Framework Spring boot , Kafka , Apigee and java open-source technologies.

- Experience with building and maintaining AWS based integration using S3, API gateway, Lambda , EC2, EKS and SQL/No-SQL .

- Productive in Java/J2EE development environments.

- Qualified candidates have real-world experience in the development life cycles of complex E-commerce applications.

- Experience with unit testing frameworks.

- Strong software development fundamentals including automated testing, source control (Gitlab), continuous integration in addition to continuous delivery and/or deployment.

- Experience integrating web frontends with complex multi-tier applications.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong willingness to learn and teach.

- A passion for solving problems and desire to understand how things work.

- Ability to help troubleshoot and resolve production system issues.

- Ability to author well designed, testable, efficient code.
