Role Purpose Statement :
Bunge EVC is one of the strategic portfolio technical team created to focus on the Global Capital projects engineering and global engineering design standards development as a Subject Matter Experts. This team is key to support the forecasted business capital investment projects both ongoing and in future. This role is to develop & lead company's Electrical system engineering requirements catering to Design & Engineering services Globally for Bunge The role will also perform project planning for electrical systems, data analysis and benchmarks with best practices and guidelines to support various project teams/PMOs and carryout technical assurance & validation process.

Main Accountabilities :

Lead design engineering & develop specifications for electrical systems including HV/LV Systems, Co-generation plant (CHP), backup power, emergency power, renewable energy with key focus on safety, sustainability, efficiency & reliability Support the preparation of commitments/estimates for approval by organizing the basic- and detail electrical-engineering depending of the complexity of the project and contribution to share in depth knowledge with other technical departments Coordinate project review meetings with project teams globally and lead discussion on electrical system design completion Depending of the complexity of projects either lead the technical assurance & validation process and support less complex projects Manage the authorized/approved ELECTRICAL budget and schedule and support execution team in the delivery of the projects according scope and quality Ensure the use of management of change processes during all phases of the project. Lead planning phases (1 to 3) of all projects in electrical discipline for accurate budget, design engineering & schedule development Preparation of Design basis, BOQ, CAPEX, HT and LV electrical equipment specification and datasheets Review of electrical load list. one line diagram/single line diagram for HT switchgear, LV PCC, MCC, PDB, lighting, and small power with energy management system Validation of sizing calculations of equipment's like Co-gen (CHP), Transformer, DG set, HT and LT cable, UPS, Battery and Battery charger, cable trays Thorough checking of grounding calculation as per IEEE, NEC, NFPA, IS, IEC & BS standard and calculation of lightning protection system as per IS/IEC Review of Equipment layout, Cable routing layout, Grounding layout and lightning protection layout Preparation of Power and Control Cable schedule and AC/DC Load profile for UPS & battery sizing Load flow and short circuit analysis and motor starting using ETAP for electrical power system Preparation of check list and standard operating procedures Work closely with other discipline leads in the organization and ensure smooth transfer of information for efficient results Vendor Co-ordination, Engagement with engineering consultants, Technical Bid Evaluation and review of vendor's drawings and specifications in the area of electrical systems Execution of FATs for Prime electrical equipment's like CHP, Transformer, Current transformer, HT Panels, LT Panels etc. Knowledge of International standards & specifications including hazardous area & safety requirement Onsite & Offshore co-ordination. Project review meetings to address design challenges and support value engineering Develop electrical system standards, checklists, standard templates, RFQ templates to support global standardization strategy Lead data analysis for electrical system and support project technical data collection from various projects Conduct global webinars and knowledge sharing on electrical systems, standards and best practices

Bunge EVC is one of the strategic focus portfolio team created to focus on the Global Capital projects engineering and global design standards development as a Subject Matter Experts. Bunge is currently planning to invest more than 2 Billion US Dollars in Capital projects in coming few years. Business desires to expand the Global engineering value center team to focus on all sort of engineering design & planning aspects to generate the significant value in terms of optimized design, safety in design, right technology selection, cost of the system, accurate planning, statutory compliance, storage & management of engineering designs etc..
In order to support large capital global projects EVC has proposed a position of "Global Electrical Lead" who will lead the portfolio and work with internal engineering and project management teams to develop, manage & control the electrical engineering design, capex and schedule accuracy for electrical systems.

Education/Experience :

Should be a first-class graduate in Electrical Engineering/ no-> 10+ years' experience as lead electrical engineer for large projects at global level
