About the Role:

You will lead the entire finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing cash flow, and providing strategic financial insights to support our growth Oversee all aspects of the finance function: This includes accounts payable/receivable, budgeting & forecasting, financial reporting, and tax compliance.


  • Ensure 100% tax compliance: Maintain a deep understanding of direct and indirect taxation and implement strategies to maximize tax efficiency while adhering to all relevant regulations.
  • Develop and manage financial models: Work closely with the leadership team to create accurate and insightful budgets and forecasts to support business planning and fundraising activities.
  • Cash flow management: Monitor cash flow closely and implement strategies to optimize cash flow and maintain financial stability.
  • Financial analysis and reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and adhoc financial analyses to support informed decisionmaking.
  • Participation in M&A activities: Assist the team in due diligence, financial modeling, and other relevant tasks during potential mergers and acquisitions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships: Build positive working relationships with internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, etc. ) and external service providers (auditors, tax advisors, etc. ).

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in a finance role, preferably with exposure to the aerospace/defense industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing the full finance function for a startup or growthstage company.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly present financial information to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting & forecasting, and financial analysis tools (e. g. , MS Excel, ERP systems).
  • Deep understanding of Indian tax laws (direct and indirect) and experience in ensuring tax compliance.
  • A proactive and resultsoriented individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
