Job Title: Program Manager

Job Overview: As a Program Manager for Personal Loans, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the end-to-end process of personal loan programs. You will be responsible for developing and implementing program strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving business growth through effective program management. This position requires a strong background in finance, project management, and leadership skills to lead crossfunctional teams and achieve program objectives.

Key Responsibilitie s:

  • Program Development: Lead the development and implementation of personal loan programs, including defining program objectives, eligibility criteria, and performance metrics.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and government agencies.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess risks associated with personal loan programs, and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and minimize potential losses.
  • Program Operations: Oversee day-to-day program operations, including application processing, underwriting, disbursement, and portfolio management, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services to clients.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor program performance against established KPIs and targets, and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies and procedures related to personal loan programs.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of program coordinators, analysts, and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans and initiatives to enhance business loan offerings, expand market reach, and drive revenue growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify customer needs, develop tailored loan products and services, and provide exceptional customer service to clients.
Required Skill-set:

Financial Acumen: Understanding financial statements, cash flow analysis, credit risk assessment, and loan structuring is essential.


Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with lending activities.

Regulatory Compliance:
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing lending practices, such as lending standards, consumer protection laws, and anti-money laundering regulations.

Project Management: Organizing and coordinating various aspects of lending programs, including timelines, resources, and stakeholders.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse market trends, industry data, and borrower profiles to make informed lending decisions.

Problem Solving: Dealing with challenges and resolving issues that arise during the loan process.
