Job Role and Responsibilities :

Responsible for overall delivery in co-ordination with App support and DB Administration for Oracle, MS SQL and other Databases. Ensure and maintain Database uptime Should have good experience in managing database BAU activities like backup, capacity management, DB Performance Tuning etc. and project activities like installation, migration etc. Manage of vendors (onsite/Offshore) infra professionals to help deliver the required services and ensure that the defined processes (, Change, Capacity and Problem Management) are well applied. Define, report, and update regularly on KPIs / SLAs and make sure IT Service Delivery services are not impacted. Ensure the High availability of DB services for BCP. Participate in the DR Drill and follow the standards and policies regarding IT Infrastructure Services concerning operation. Draft support documents and updating DB operations manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), life-cycle documentation Provide domain expertise to maintain overall Database health and stability - Collaborate with Operations team to help them with Critical issues/outages, Validate Root Cause Analysis for the critical outages, Collaborate with vendors for smooth introduction of new solutions/services for operations, Knowledge in Security management by Database hardening, Patch Management, Vulnerability fixing.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in a scientific subject area: computer science, engineering Database Administration certification, Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills Proficiency (oral and written) in English, any additional language is a plus Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Oracle and MS SQL Databases.
