Expertise:
The Associate Fellow is expected to manage day-to-day web content for ORF Marathi, forge partnerships with Mumbai
- and Maharashtra-based organisations and handle and promote digital outreach for Marathi output.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Exposure to and understanding of local, state, national and international issues
  • Identify and select relevant content from the extensive research output of ORF for publication on ORF Marathi; liaise with translators for the same
  • Proven ability to author highquality original Marathi articles, commentaries and opinion pieces
  • Build a network of external experts who can regularly contribute original Marathi content and build the 'thoughtleadership' quotient of ORF Marathi among the Marathi community and diaspora
  • Plan and execute Marathispecific editorial campaigns on contemporary issues of local, national and global significance
  • Curate and conduct talks, panel discussions, roundtables and webinars in Marathi on issues of contemporary relevance
  • Manage the entire digital outreach for ORF Marathi on all social media platforms
  • Build partnerships with relevant stakeholders in Mumbai and Maharashtra.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in handling editorial teams, producing research outputs and project reports
  • High proficiency in Marathi (oral and written)
  • Good communication skills in English and Hindi
  • Sound knowledge of digital communications and outreach, social media platforms
  • 35 years of work experience
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as on individual initiative.
