Required skills

  • Hands-on experience with automation systems in manufacturing plants
  • Experience in CAD software.
  • Should have experience of working on 3D printers and have familiarity with metal additive manufacturing technologies.
  • Should have knowledge of different 3D slicing software
  • Should have an idea about the repair and service 3D Printers
  • Support development and delivery of concept to CAD → CAE to CAM requirements of our clients.

Desired Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of machines in electrical, mechanical, cooling, and gas systems to allow machines to operate at their optimal efficiency and productivity
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel internationally if requested
  • Ability to work independently

As a Specialist- Machining Department, you will:

  • Convert 2D drawings or conceptual sketches into 3D CAD model
  • Prepare STL models for 3D printing and estimate the cost for printing using the proprietary tools provided
  • Design and print innovative functional products
  • Manage the CAD/CAM/3D print workflow.
  • Maintain and track the schedule and work performed in the additive manufacturing.
  • Keep a clean, organized and thoroughly maintained machine and workspace.
  • Performs lower-level periodic maintenance of the allocated machines
  • Follow standard work methods on assignments and requests guidance for any part making / modification conflicts or gaps
  • Maintain and promote a positive and safe work environment
  • Support execution to metrics and goals surrounding utilization, scrap reduction, and
  • Support preventative maintenance and calibration.

Degree and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Automation Technology or equivalent experience
  • Practical, hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment
  • Computer hardware/software set-up experience
  • Experience with 3D printing technology, specifically, Metal Powder Bed Fusion
