Your main focus will be collaborating with the controllership team to guarantee the accurate and timely submission of tax returns. Additionally, you will be instrumental in devising tax strategies to minimize our tax burden.

Job Profile:

  • Hands-on experience in GST compliances, encompassing return filing, reconciliations, audits, and refund procedures
  • Dealing with direct tax issues related to TDS, TCS, and annual tax computations/audits
  • Managing litigations and addressing departmental notices, audits, and inquiries
  • Oversight of small teams and coordination with external advisors
  • Assisting in various audits such as Tax Audit, GST Audits, statutory audits, and internal audits
  • Introducing automation to streamline current processes
  • Regular ledger and schedule reviews to identify potential risk areas
  • Development and implementation of tax SOPs for compliance
  • Minimum of 13 years of tax compliance experience
  • Thorough understanding of Indian tax laws and regulations, inclusive of GST, TDS, and Income Tax Act
  • Handling tax audits, appeals, and assessments
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external auditors
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problemsolving abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
