Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on API testing and test automation.
  • Proven experience with API testing tools.
  • Strong programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as Java, JavaScript.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Rest Assured, BDD).
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle, testing methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Desire to help take Pattern to the next level through exploration and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools like Github Actions
  • Knowledge of API design principles and best practices (e.g., RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, authentication mechanisms).
  • Expert in Postman API automation suite and automation tools like Selenium, Rest Assured, BDD framework
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, ASTQB) or related fields.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, AWS Fargate, etc.
  • Knowledge of security testing principles and tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MySql or Oracle databases
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
