Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing, a keen eye for detail and a proven track record of driving successful online campaigns. This role involves developing, implementing and optimizing our digital marketing strategies across various channels to enhance our online presence, drive traffic and generate leads.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy, Planning:

Developing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with business objectives.

Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities and target audiences.

Content Creation and Management :

Create, curate, and manage engaging content for websites, blogs, social media and other digital platforms.

Collaborate with designers, content creators and other team members to produce high-quality content.

SEO and SEM :

Perform keyword research and optimize website content for search engines to improve organic rankings.

Manage and optimize pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns on platforms like Google Ads.

Social Media Management :

Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement.

Manage social media accounts, including content scheduling, community engagement and performance analysis.

Email Marketing :

Design and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive conversions.

Segment email lists and personalise email content to target specific audience groups.

Analytics and Reporting :

Monitor, analyse and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize campaigns.

Ensure the company website is optimized for user experience (UX) and conversions.

Regularly update website content to keep it fresh and relevant.

Marketing Automation :

Utilize marketing automation tools to streamline and optimize marketing efforts.

Implement and manage workflows, lead scoring, and automated email sequences.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Website Editor, Email executive or a similar role
  • Proficiency in website content management systems and email marketing platforms
  • Strong understanding of user experience and website optimization principles
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS is preferred
  • Experience in A/B testing and conversion rate optimization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical mindset and ability to interpret data and analytics
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus
