Incorporated as "Bombay Swadeshi Stores Ltd" We are the First retail Organization to be listed in the Bombay Stock Exchange Currently we have 22 stores and soon we are in expansion of more stores.


  • Identify customer preferences and forecast consumer trend
  • Evaluate vendor options according to prices, quality etc. and determine the best choices
  • Discover and purchase new products and check the quality and popularity of those already on our shelves
  • Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing.
  • Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
  • Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with inventory team, management, and stockroom as required.
  • Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Attend events, fairs and exhibitions to remain uptodate with the market's trends Requirement:
  • Proven experience as a retail buyer or relevant role
  • Outstanding communication abilities & negotiation Skill
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrable aptitude in effective negotiating
  • Up to speed with purchasing best practices
  • Familiarity with market research, data analysis and forecasting techniques
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, MS Power Point
- working knowledge of purchasing software (e.g. Genesis) is an advantage

Salary:
Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
