What You'll Do:
  • Facilitate all ceremonies and planning events like daily standup, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective, release planning.
  • Guide teams in estimating features and capabilities, helping them make realistic commitments.
  • Collaborate with external teams to resolve blocking issues and keep Scrum teams on track.
Represent Scrum teams at necessary ceremonies, including Scrum of Scrums.

  • Work with Product Owners to maintain a healthy backlog.
Guide teams in respecting backlog priorities and scope..

  • Challenge team norms to enhance performance in quality, predictability, flow, and velocity, while ensuring focus on daily, sprint, and release goals.
  • Mentor, motivate, and drive process improvements within the team.
  • Assist teams in managing challenges.
  • Conduct retrospectives to pinpoint areas for improvement and drive necessary actions.
  • Ensure teams comply with Broadridge processes, consistently enhancing the quality and quantity of deliverables.
  • Prepare teams for build demos and releases, including review ceremonies with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders.
  • Establish and refine effective team processes.
  • Encourage autonomy and continuous improvement within agile teams to identify and resolve obstacles sustainably.

What You Have:
  • 5+ years in a Scrum Master role with solid Agile principles knowledge. Scrum master certification is advantageous.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Jira and Confluence. Expertise is a plus.
  • Able to motivate teams to take ownership of processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills for global and diverse interactions.
  • Comfortable working in high-pressure environments to meet deadlines.
  • Result-oriented, resourceful, with prioritization and independent/group work abilities.
  • Relevant 3rd level degree or professional qualification.
  • Scrum Alliance CSM certification required. CSP certification or PMI's Agile Certified Professional (ACP) a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in process management.
  • Capable of working under tight deadlines.
  • Skilled in building consensus and negotiating.
