Security Partner (Security Architect)
At ANZ, our Security Domain is tasked with making ANZ a safe and more secure place by ensuring our corporate and customer information is secured.
The Security Domain has group-wide accountability for providing functional and thought leadership for information security and provides advice, guidance and the right tools to enable everyone in ANZ to protect our information.
We're looking for a talented Security Partner (Security Architect) to collaborate with the business and technology to ensure that security is prioritised and understood.
About YouTo thrive and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Technical Articulation:
Translate complex technical designs into actionable requirements for delivery squads. Your ability to make intricate security concepts understandable and implementable will be crucial.
Technology Mastery:
Develop a deep understanding of the diverse technology stacks employed across the bank. Your willingness to learn and adapt will enable you to effectively address security concerns across various platforms.
Trusted Advisor:
Establish yourself as a key security advisor to senior stakeholders, including Tech Area Leads and Tribe Leads, as well as various tribe members.
Contract Review:
Review vendor contracts to ensure relevant security clauses are embedded, protecting ANZ's interests and maintaining compliance with security standards.
Security Architecture:
Develop, evaluate, review, and design secure solutions that facilitate scalability, extensibility, and reusability. Your architectural insight will be vital in building robust security frameworks.
Threat Modelling:
Apply threat modelling methodologies and understand common tactics, techniques, and procedures in agile environments. Your expertise will help anticipate and mitigate potential threats.
Detailed Description
Cloud Security:
Demonstrate knowledge of cloud architectures and security controls, including network security, IAM, data protection, and logging. Your proficiency in cloud security will support the secure deployment and operation of cloud-based solutions.
Hybrid Cloud:
Navigate the complexities of securely deploying applications to hybrid cloud environments. Your understanding of hybrid cloud security challenges will ensure seamless and secure integration.
Reusable Patterns:
Develop and maintain reusable security architecture and design patterns for consumption across the organization. Your contributions will standardize and streamline security practices.
Agile Security Controls:
Design and articulate security controls to protect against attack vectors in an agile environment. Your ability to adapt security measures to agile workflows will enhance the organization's security posture.
Cloud Technologies:
Secure cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, containers, and infrastructure as code deployments. Your familiarity with these technologies will ensure their secure implementation and management.
Regulatory Compliance:
Familiarize with and implement relevant regulatory requirements, such as APRA CPS. Your knowledge of regulatory standards will ensure ANZ's compliance and enhance our security framework.
