Job Description

Product Development

  • Drive new product development as per the Project brief (Innovation/Renovation).
  • Develop innovation concepts continuously to enhance the innovation pipeline for the category.
  • Identify new opportunity areas and collaborate with external partners to strengthen the innovation pipeline for category leadership.

Project Management

  • Ensure timely delivery of products/processes/systems/solutions with defined quality and cost parameters.
  • Contribute to the future commercial success by considering the bigger picture and the context of current and upcoming projects.
  • Manage projects in New Product Development Innovation end-to-end within set timelines and costs.
  • Handle stakeholder management effectively.
  • Acquire, generate, and record new knowledge efficiently.

People & Resource Management

  • Define project roles and responsibilities clearly.
  • Plan resources effectively to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Foster a sense of team spirit within the project team.
  • Facilitate vertical and horizontal communication.
  • Manage allocated resources, including budget, in a matrix organization structure.
  • Take full responsibility for the project team in a 'projectized' organization.

Networking

  • Enhance collaboration among specialists within the Food and across R&D Units, Technical and Business Units, and external partners.
  • Utilize networking opportunities effectively to create synergies with different stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • Hold a Masters in Food Technology/Industrial Engineering/MBA with over 10 years of experience.
  • Possess a minimum of 8 years of Product Development & Project Management experience, particularly in the Noodles food category.
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in R&D/Application Group.
  • Bring 3 years of experience in Operations and/or technical/commercial function.
  • Demonstrate leadership in managing small to medium-sized teams.
  • Show courage and problem-solving skills in decision-making.
  • Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills, especially in front of steering committees.
  • Have a background in the briefing process.
