About the Role:

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

a) Strategic Distribution Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive distribution strategies to maximize market penetration and product availability.
  • Analyze market trends, customer demands, and geographic factors to optimize distribution networks.
  • Identify and establish new distribution channels and partnerships.

b) Distribution Network Management:

  • Oversee and manage the entire distribution network, ensuring seamless and costeffective product delivery.
  • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient inventory management.
  • Monitor and optimize warehouse operations, transportation, and distribution centers to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

c) Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination:

  • Ensure accurate inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Coordinate with production and procurement teams to align distribution schedules with manufacturing outputs.
  • Implement best practices for inventory management, including tracking and reporting systems.

d) Vendor and Partner Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with distribution partners to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and audits of distribution partners to ensure compliance and efficiency.

e) Sales Management:

  • Lead the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets for the innerwear division.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective territory management.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.
  • Ensure brand consistency and effective product positioning in the market.

f) Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the distribution and sales teams to achieve high performance and operational excellence.
  • Set clear goals and performance metrics for the teams, conducting regular evaluations and providing feedback.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the teams.

g) Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present detailed reports on distribution and sales performance, including key metrics such as delivery times, costs, inventory levels, and sales targets.
  • Use datadriven insights to refine distribution and sales strategies and address any inefficiencies or challenges.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in distribution, logistics, and sales.
