  • Review technical drawings and models to identify Bill of Materials (BOM) and cost estimates.
  • Handle purchase requisitions for project materials, services, and machinery.
  • Conduct daily meetings with engineers, supervisors, and contractors for project updates.
  • Manage project budgets, cash flow, and invoicing plans.
  • Address Extra Work Claims, Variation Orders, Change Orders, and Time Delay Extensions.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with HR and department heads to allocate resources effectively.
  • Create manpower histograms and prepare S-curves.
  • Engage with new contractors, negotiate contracts, and coordinate onboarding.
  • Ensure quality assurance processes and conduct regular quality checks.
  • Analyze key project bottlenecks, delays, and challenges to implement solutions.
  • Track project progress against timelines and deliverables.
  • Prepare monthly project status presentations and reports for stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is desirable.
  • Experience: Previous experience in project planning and management within the aerospace industry, ERP systems, budget management, cost control, financial analysis, and risk mitigation.
  • Technical / Functional Expertise & other competencies: Knowledge in managing projects related to machine installation, structure erection in casting industry or related fields, understanding of engineering principles, communication skills, team management, quality control, negotiation, and problem-solving.
