  • Design products of the company for estimation
  • Determine materials and equipment cost by referring to ASME standards and catalogs, and through personal contacts with vendors and suppliers
  • Estimate labor costs by studying the final cost analysis of previous projects and using unit cost guides based on national averages
  • Prepare technical annexure for estimated projects
  • Handle online tenders like EIL, Oxyomon technical bids, and documentation
  • Perform design calculations based on RFQ at the estimation level
  • Determine supervision, inspection, and other overhead costs based on project completion time estimation
  • Ensure all quotations are sent to clients within the due date
  • Prepare error-free quotes with no additional charges apart from overhead and margin
  • Maintain and update the enquiry register with immediate updates upon enquiry receipt and offer submission
  • Include all practical costs in the commercial part of estimation, with no assumptions made
  • Provide backups for every cost during review
  • Maintain a cost database of references
  • Discuss with sub-vendors to obtain accurate costs
  • Release budget to the Project Department post order
  • Brief the entire order to the execution team during KOM PV Elite and Autocad
