Job Summary:

Utiltyx India Private Limited is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Manager/Director of Engineering with a strong background in building software solutions for the Power Grid sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of utility protocols such as DNP3 and IEC 61850, and have a proven track record of leading engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and maintenance.
  • Develop and execute engineering strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Provide technical guidance and support in the development of software solutions for the Power Grid sector.
  • Ensure the team adheres to best practices in software engineering, including code quality, testing, and documentation.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in utility protocols (DNP3, IEC and integrate them into our solutions.
  • Project Management:
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and operations, to deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring projects remain on track.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:

Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Extensive experience in the Power Grid sector, with a strong understanding of utility protocols like DNP3 and IEC
